Had an east pilot on the jumpseat who thought scab union supporters were lower than picket line crossing rats.
 
Said they cost him over $1/2 million, 170 days of vacation and a cross country commute for 10 years.  
 
Also had choice words for the MDA lawsuit.  Couldn't understand how the east has lost this lawsuit 3 times already, and yet files again.

A jump seater a few feet away from you whispering sweet nothings in to your ear, for a free ride home, how quintessential.  
 
May I ask you, did the jump seater say that he loved you and then promise to marry you?

The company is fos with their FOS time line prediction.
 
By labor laws they have to act and attempt only.  The operation will be separate for years.
The company only cares about a west crews ability to change airplanes with a LUS and LAA crew.  The phx fish bowl will wither by attrition.
 
You will not hear any complaints from those that brought something to the merger.

We are superior, we repeat ad nauseam, we are superior.   Our legacy american integration committee members are attempting to do what we have always done during our past pilot seniority integrations that involved us, staple the other pilot groups near the bottom.  Please disregard the fact that we are the reason the McCaskill-Bond law was enacted and it is included in the title of your arbitrators group name and responsibility, due to our treatment of the former TWA Pilots.

US Airways was more bankrupt than us in recent history.

Nic or nothing, (since 2005, despite many other avenues offered) no fences on wide bodies (because we do not have them in our fleet)  and by the way, we want to use the nic, East attrition and  all the while claiming longevity is the only way to go.

Please disregard the fact that the 9th Circuit court stated that the nic award is not a legal requirement.  Also disregard labor laws by not paying attention to the voted in (west pilots by 97%)  cba paragraph 10H.

We were the first airline that asked for a ATSB loan post 911, we asked for too much but were only given 400 million.  We have not been bankrupt in quite a while due to the fact that our pilots were making only 50 percent of our peers for decades.  Oh, by the way, we had a zero neutral cost contract prior to the awa, US Airways merger.   In the transition agreement with the East Pilots in 2005, they gave us parity in defined contribution retirement, profit sharing and jump seat rights, please disregard the fact that we fought wage parity for them and stated in the nicolau brief we had superior wages, ad nauseam.

Actually, the DFR violation applies to an 8 year history of the scab union not representing the West, read the decision.  The MOU is just the ripe finish to the DFR committed 8 years ago with the formation of a scab union intent on stealing jobs from their new found co-workers.
 
The arbs will look at "the whole ball of wax"  and that wax has a guilty scab union in the mix!
 
Oh, and the West did not waste any money.  All well spent to keep a scab union at bay.

The West Committee understands that, despite the Ninth Circuits decision regarding USAPAs conduct in negotiating the MOU, there is no legal argument to be made that the Nicolau Award is now binding in this SLI proceeding as a consequence of the terms of the America West-US Airways Transition Agreement.41

41 The East Committee also argues that the Nicolau Award did not create any enforceable seniority rights. East Committee Pre-Hearing Statement 49-50. Regardless of whether that is correct as a matter of law, the West Committee has not argued in this proceeding that the Board is legally bound to accept the Nicolau Award, but instead that it should choose the Nicolau Award because it is the only fair and equitable mechanism for integrating the East and West pilots given the circumstances at hand.
