They have ALWAYS done their jobs. The responsibility/Accountability lies with Senior Management. A worker is only as good as the person who manages them. Look to WN for a comparison
While I certainly agree with that, even the pilots are mostly a non-factor in the topic of this thread. While a captain can decline to take a particular airplane, the actual decision on whether to cancel or not is made by dispatch. Short of an airport being closed or running out of airworthy airplanes, every day could be a 100% completion day but other factors come into play when dispatch makes that decision.Jim, The point being made is there is more to an airline than the pilots....
