NO,.......'just sayin' that the 'corner of (my) town'...where I hung out in the early 60's included almost everyone. White Italians, Irish/Blacks/Spanish/Gay(though they didn't use that word back then, but we KNEW they were). Everyone listening to Motown, or practicing a lil' Do-Wop.

NOW,....over on the (only) other corner, was where you would've fit in. Thats where all the Rich Kids were, and brother....they were ALL WHITE, listening to the Beach Boys ! You'd be HARD PRESSED to find a (hushed tone) NEGRO...among them .
