We only got full retro one time, we will get a signing bonus, the pilots got retro we are not pilots, everyone else got a signing bonus and you can say that is concessions, but the union needs to be honest with the membership, it is coming to crunch time, look forward to the meetings on the 20 th!

When was that? And what is full retro? Very negotiated contradictory term???

What a load of blah blah blah.

The conversation is simple. How long should these people need to wait to vote on something? How long before they get to really give their voice to the Company? If 5 FIVE years isn't enough then how long should it be? 7 SEVEN years, 9 NINE years, TEN?

AMFA at SWA has a contract that became amendable 5 FIVE years ago. When will AMFA Leaders let their members VOTE? Why do they consistently show a history of preventing their members from voting?

Do YOU work for Lee Seeham? What is YOUR affiliation with Lee Seeham? Why is Lee Seeham receiving over $500,000 per year? What makes Lee Seeham earn over $500,000 per year of this memberships money?

Will AMFA members ever get to vote?
Will AMFA members ever get to vote?
Will AMFA members ever get to vote?
Will AMFA members ever get to vote?
Will AMFA members ever get to vote?
How many more years do they need to wait?
Good ol' Dippy Dave the irrelevant ear ring wearin' AMFA hatin' bag chunker. Whistling past the TWu graveyard of 30 years of concessions Dave? Then the cherry atop the TWu dung pile: 14 years of a Record TWu sellout no airline will ever match and no end in sight. Again, 14 years of a record setting TWu sellout. When do we get to vote? 15 16 17 years? A whole lot worse than 5 year stall under a livable SWA contract.

How about the TWu lie that we get to vote on the "Association"? A big TWu lie and no vote, as it was imposed by the AFl-CIo interference. No mention of that in your anti-AMFA melt down.

No, I don't work for SSM@P, or any affiliation, (BTW its Seham). That's hilarious Dippy Dave. He is a high profile attorney, and they are expensive. Sellout Art Luby probably made millions off the concessions the TWu has sold over the years. Nice work Art.

Hey buddy, this nugget will drive you over the anti-AMFA cliff in your V6 hot rod.. Several TWu locals have used and currently are using Lee's professional services. Ouchy Dave.

Need me to call you a waaaambulance? A soft binky or a coloring book? A case of Prozac? Straight jacket perhaps? Matching nose ring?

Just let me know, K?

And not for nothing that any and all support isn't appreciated BUT AMFA DFW 11 you do realize I hope that there are two other Locals involved in this picketing. Maybe at least acknowledging them would be a courteous move.

"Support TWU591 at American"

Dippy Dave, AMFA 11 members were invited by Local 591, and they were responding to the invitation.

Maybe attempt to get a clue at some point, it's no wonder you got publicly man handled by Parker in public and on video.

I did my time as a rep, I told you guys you would lose this case when it was started

Yes I know that, I did my time as a rep, I told you you would lose this case when we filed the lawsuit, let me ask you as members, no hurt feelings does it bother you in the least bit , this money was wasted, do you believe everything the union tells you, that is why we got rid of the Teamsters back in 2003, we don't believe everything the company tells us. The reason ee had leading contracts is because of SWA financial position after 911, and our management team was smart enough to hedge fuel before oil skyrocketed in 2008, When we bought Airtran that got us the 800,s quicker and international flying! I want a contract that we can all look at and consider , and feel like we are getting something for the dues we pay every month, sometimes I am like a bull in a china shop that can be good and bad.
"Did my time as a rep". Was that with the Reamsters? Why did you quit? How come your not a leader in the union or at least the AMFA Treasurer? With all you concerns about legal fees, AIR 21 lawsuits, and the wasting of dues on attorneys, you would be the go-to answer man to solve all the issues. A financial wiz kid you must be, with a minor in legalese.

I will state you didn't stay in as a "rep" was because of the sniveling and whining about YOU and YOUR money. After all, that is all your concerned about...at least in your tearful rants...it's about you. I want to look at a contract, and gimme my money. That didn't go over well did it? Nobody likes a sniveling greedy whiner as a "rep".

More like a bull with a pacifier and a soft binky, curled up in the corner.

Hackman is an impressive guy to have dialouge with. Attack on. Ur rants are almost humerous but really it is sad. Truely sad.

Because I found they are really no different than any of the other industrial unions, so Hackman sounds like you are just jealous, the only reason you are in the postion work wise at American is because of 911-& the war in Iraq and oil prices, American did not have the money to hedge fuel, went through chapter 11-bankruptcy and Southwest did not,; see all you can do is attack and not have an intelligent conversation. A union can only get you what the company agrees to give you either through negotiations or arbitration! Hopefully the membership accepts it, if not back to the table, Strikes really only work if you are a pilot and then sometimes not, just ask the Continental pilots in 1983, or the Comair pilots after their Strike Delta shut them down ! Everyone on here says AMFA won the arbitration on the fouth line and the inspection back fill I hope you can win on stuff that has specific contract language, because they sure screwed the pooch on the sick time arbitration, and wasted money on a brake ride/ supertug grievance they lost in arbitration! If we accept this medication/ arbitration even though it is not binding I hope they bring their A game!

Why did I quit because I found that AMFA was no different than every other industrial union I have been part of! It sounds like you are just jealous of what we have , the only reason that you are in the situation you are at American is because of 911, the Iraq war and oil prices, any Union can only get you what the company agrees to give you through negotiations or arbitration, hopefully the membership accepts it, if not back to the table. Strikes only work usually if you are a pilot which we are not. However sometimes they don't just ask the Continental pilots from 1983, or the Comair pilots after their strike Delta's payback was to shut them down! A responsible union tries to get their membership a raise and keep them working, then everyone wins!Everyone on here says what about the arbitration we won on the fourth line and the inspection back fill, I hope you can win when you have that in specific contract language to back it up! However we lost the sick policy and now have a worse policy. I hope if they accept this mediation/ arbitration they bring their A game. Hackman if you guys want AMFA at American, and that's what the majority wants I hope you get it, but tell me if you get them in there and 3 years from now they still haven't gotten you a contract are you still going to be singing their praises or cursing them too like you do TWU or the IAM !

Yes they did. They even HAD to go to AMFA's attorney's to get one of their TWU union brothers jobs back at AA. Now how does that look? Yea, a TWU union brother hired the AMFA attorney to get his job back at AA while all along being represented by the TWU at AA. Now that my friend speaks VOLUMES!!!

All that says is the attorney would take their money, I am glad they got their jobs back, hopefully AMFA spends that much money to get our guys jobs back, because they didn't spend money on the Northwest guys !
