I understand the base, but I always looked a raise , as a raise. The problem I see is if you take six months to get a T/A vote for whatever strategy , maybe make people mad to get a No vote. Our Negotiating committee has done nothing fast this whole time. So if the mediator has time, IMO our next voting opportunity will be April of 2019 at the earliest, unless the mediator knows about this rumor of this immediate offer we are lead to believe exist by some on this board. If that is not true there will be some people not happy ,who voted no expecting a quick solution. The pilots changed their union leadership and negotiators after the first one failed- so that added time to get a new agreement. Without that extra time it was about 8-9 months.
Even without adding 2% to 2012, but adding 3% to every other year, our base pay is short ~2.50/hr. I know they added $1 to license premium, but that’s on them- that shouldn’t count towards what our base pay SHOULD be.
