It ain’t pretty — as demonstrated by one brave intern from Wisconsin’s MacIver Institute who ventured to the state capitol today to document the protests which continue against Gov. Scott Walker and the state Supreme Court-approved law cracking down on unions’ collective bargaining privileges.

Exhibit "A" supporting my contention that blood will flow in the streets prior to the end of my life. Interestingly enough I made that prediction in 1972 as a newly minted graduate of the public school system. Our Liberal/Progressive brethren will not go gently into that good night.

Not of the entire population of the US. You are under the delusion that the entire population is composed of libtards like yourself. In reality it only comprises of about 20%. And yes a majority of that 20% are whack jobs like you and the pink dress guy.

Please show us where a group of conservatives interrupted an event honoring Special Olympians.
Please show us where a group of conservatives cost a state millions of dollars in damage to the state building after days of protests.

Why because it's been caught in living color? I've been in those situations personally and frankly I've not seen a raving bunch of Conservatives shout down a speaker or attempt to intimidate as those against Gov Walker have done.

I recall going to a Political Rally where we were escorted in and out by the local Police for our safety. I was barely 18 and I have vivid recall of one rather large PHL cop bellowing at us "Keep Moving and don't look back" as they safely ushered us onto our waiting buses.

I held a very unpopular view regarding Viet Nam, which was essentially the beginnings of my march to Libertarianism. To put my view on a bumper sticker it was "Viet Nam - In it to WIN it, or OUT without a doubt" Turned out that viewpoint managed to piss off both sides.

I've seen the Liberal attempts at Hatchet jobs first hand directed at me as early as my Senior Year in High School. I was never a fan of forced busing or Affirmative Action and in a class discussion I had this kid stand up and SCREAM at me "You're a RACIST MF'er". Thought the teacher was gonna pop an aneurism and she demanded he apologize. I stopped her and said "No it's OK, he has a right to his opinion, just allow me to ask him a few questions", she said "OK", so I turned and asked, "XXXX We have 4 black kids in this school out of 1000, have you ever had lunch with any of them? (Background is 3 of the 4 are in class) He replies, "No", Do you know how many brother & sisters Linda has? Do you know here last name? Again a NO. I asked similar questions and finally asked him how his Dad would react if his sister brought home Greg as her Prom date. (Greg was all state track guy and black), To this very day he's never answered. See I was friends outside of school with all 4 black kids, knew their parents, went deer hunting with them. So I wrapped the whole incident up by saying, "NEVER call me a racist, ever again, don't apologize instead take a look in the mirror and see who's racist". Funny thing was the teacher grabbed me after class and said "You handled that very well although, I don't think XXXX is to happy" I smirked and said "You thought I was going to come across the room and kick the crap out of him didn't you?" She got this real sheepish look and said "Yeah"

Point to the above story is that when the Orthodoxy of the day is challenged, the reactions of those on the Left are often very different from those on the right. It also points out that when confronted in a civilized manner the left resorts to name calling and shouting down opposing viewpoints instead of engaging in a spirited debate. The arrogant tone, condescending attitude and air of superiority is quite apparent on the left and was in that classroom in 1972. I still have to chuckle at the horror on his face when I asked him if he knew Linda's last name as he sat next to her? He didn't!

It seems that between my Dad and this very nice 8th grade Social Studies Teacher I was encouraged to think freely and to research my positions. There are times now when I wish I had become just a "normal" Republican or Democrat. Like the poet Robert Frost, I have chosen the road less traveled and that has made all of the difference. I've no regrets over my choices. However what happened in class room in 1972 is very different IMO than what we're facing. There is money on the table and it's going to be one very bumpy ride going forward.

I don't know about any "Teams", All I can say is they don't speak for me as they don't speak to an individual rights, only those of a group and under the Constitution there are only individual rights as Conferred upon us by our creator.

I do however find it both interesting and amusing that Westboro Baptist was the best example you could come up with, given organizations like the AFL-CIO, SEIU, ACORN, Move on, New Black Panther Party who have been openly involved in the protests in WI. Many of who are being bussed in.

I don't mind that they're bussed in, just be honest about it. That way the WI voters can decide what kind of government they want and how much they're willing to pay for it. If your ideas, conduct, morals, values & ethics are solid your side will win based upon the merits of your position so there should be no need to attempt to rig the deck. Unless of course your ideas are fiscally & morally Bankrupt, then you have to obfuscate and disrupt.

The odd part is Westboro Baptist proves the theory of the above paragraph as they clearly aren't winning the hearts and minds of the American People and neither is the far left.

Homophobia isn't against the law, but there you are trying to demonize anyone who dares to cast a critical glance at the Left's Homo Promo agenda. Frankly this type of bullying by you and others who seek to silence opposing points of view has made me far less supportive of the Homo Promo agenda than at anytime in my life. Do I like the position of Islam regarding homosexuality? No I do not! however I'm not on here belittling their views as you do with anyone who doesn't march in lockstep like some drag queen bunch of Storm Troopers with the notion that Gays have "Rights" that other no not. Individuals have rights, groups do not.

As a Libertarian I have stated that there is no place for the initiation of force to back up one's beliefs. People who bomb organizations of any kind should be ferreted out and subject to prosecution and incarceration. They do not speak for me.

The simple fact, despite you air of superiority and condescending arrogance towards anyone who dare challenge the Liberal/Progressive Orthodoxy is somehow a mental & intellectual midget is extremely offensive and obnoxious. I wholeheartedly reject the notion that bankrupting the country in the name of social justice occupies the moral & intellectual high ground from which to spew hatred and venom on anyone who dare question or disagree. You do this virtually every post and I've sharpened my tone considerably despite my best efforts to the contrary.

You call it bullying, I call it fighting for equal rights. Silence? What ever. I see no proof of that. I just see people fighting for equal rights and I see those who want to deny equal rights trying to silence me and others like me.

Let my friends have equal rights and you will not have to hear about it any more. It's so easy yet you continue to fight it. Stupid.

You can try and justify your hatred any way you choose and you can paint me in any light with any brush you choose. It does not change the facts about what is going on and who you or I are.
