If Mr Lakefield is making $400,000 alone in just salary, not including benefits... and stock...Think about this...

If RSA and Mr bronner looked to say...Hmmmm......India....

I bet they could find an executive...an investment genius...A motivated team player...Highly educated....A real thinker....

Who would love to move to the USA...and probably take the job and do as good for as little as say...
............... $90,000 to $100,000 a year salary..........

WOW!!!!!!!! An instant savings of over $310,000 !!!!!!

What a GREAT IDEA !!!!!

Please....Read between the lines.....Don't take this so literal....

This is a comment about outsourcing...

As in...anybody can be replaced....What goes around comes around...

( The company is replacing lots of workers by outsourcing....)

Plus, it seems Mr Lakefield has become unsucessful in dealing with the unions, as Mr David Siegel did....

Mr Lakefield has potential strikes with the Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays upon us....With flight attendants, mechanics & CWA workers...Hmmm..Pass the tums & rolaids this holiday season .....

Only an agreement with the pilots.....That's only 1 out of 4, which is only a 25 % success rate and a 75 % failure rate....

He has decided to put the screws to the flight attendants, The mechanics and the gate agents, ticket counter agents, & reservation agents.....

Happy Holidays everyone.....

Does it really matter. When Siegel came in peopel were happy until he made decisions, then he was the enemy.
When Bruce came in, I read people write, he seems like a quiet, nice guy, someone to deal with. Now he's the enemy.

Because he has done NOTHING to improve labor-management relationship.

It is audacious that someone making 10% to 15% of his salary is taking a 21% paycut and he is not taking one penny.

Bruce has not led by example.

700 You are absolutely correct, but if Gordon came here and said he would work for free until we posted a profit, but the current proposals must stand. He would not be popular either. It would take some serious effort and results to change the management-labor problems that some keep harping on.

It is not about assuming a quiet, nice position when walking in the door...

A shark looks peaceful when gliding thru the water....A rattlesnake looks pretty innocent sliding thru the desert.....

What has he accomplished since the departure of David Siegel?...

Oh yes...

I am sorry.... ...................I forgot....I apologize......I should give him his due credit..................................

He did help close the David Siegel's briefcase

with all those..WADS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS STICKING OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!

The root cause of all the company's inablity to reach consenual deals is because management has declared war on the employees and not the competition.

Well fliboi, I hope he at least bought you dinner afterwards!!

its amazing, that the best you can do is insult? Please try again!

If Gordon Bethune is the answer, let him work for a "percentage" on the REAL PROFIT he would make, for the company...

Not trying to make his money on the savings he gets from squeezing the employees like "The CEO of Darkness" does ....

But from marketing...offerering a great product...and having happy, repeat customers....Isn't that what a great airline is about ?
