Article in recent USA Today had this quote from Siegel:

"US Airways CEO David Siegel says his airline is preparing a surprise response to Southwest Airlines entering US Airways' Philadelphia hub on May 9."

Anyone want to guess on the surprise? Is it a big "welcome to Philly cake?" Chef's surprise? Cans and cans of "delay-be-gone?" Or, just maybe a new fare structure?

All guesses welcomed.

In reality U-air can pull any suprises they like. Southwest will come in and make money from day one. It’s hard to intimidate Southwest Airlines!
I herd Keller being interviewed not to long ago and he stated they don’t get concerned with the competition. They just sell there tickets fly there customers and make MONEY
