For the week of July 3 through July 9, AA''s A+14 was 70.1%, easily last in the industry (DL was first at 84.8%). Usually, AA''s A+14 hovers right around 80% or a little higher. I know we had some bad weather in DFW, MIA, and ORD in the last week, but I''m not sure if that would drive the whole 10 percentage point drop. What else is going on here?

It probably was just the weather. Things were unbelievably backed up for days.It was still OSO as of late last night.

Just maybe, the ramp crews walked after 6 hrs with no lunch period, ( as per our contract). This I know happens for a fact. I had to to do on Tues. Just let the plane sit. If they don''t care enough for my crew and I to get a break from this heat. We are not machines. Ya gatta do what ya gotta do then they can hear you.

DFWCC,

Your post, brought to mind another AA "JOKE".

Are "some" of the pilots STILL releasing the a/c brakes, to show a phoney on time dept, WHILE you & crew still loading cargo ???
