What the AA CEO LEARNED FROM HERB KELLEHER.

Parker goes around and listens to his workforce but he doesn’t hear them at all. He doesn’t deviate. At almost every Town Hall he makes the comment “We need to look into that”

He’s FOS.
That's CEO 101.

I don't know your CEO, but if I were to guess, pretty sure that whole article you posted with Parker prasing Herb and saying he is learning to listen like the Herbie is just an act to try and make himself look good. He is right about one thing, Parker is not even close to being like Herb for sure. There is not a CEO out there that even can come close to the way Herb was. Herb genuinely luved and cared for his employees, all employees. For someone to come out in the presses to try and make themselves look as good or even partially as good as Herb should be ashamed of themselves for using Herb's character for such a task. As far as I am concerned he now just got moved to the bottom of the list of CEO's.

no need to move him hes always been a bottom feeder.

I just watched Oscar Munoz on CNBC. I wonder if the UAL BOD would have any interest in trading Munoz and Kirby for Parker and Isom?

Wishful thinking.
They wouldn’t do that if AA offered half the grounded Max,s as boot

Parker is theft by deception, what a piece of ****!

IMO, Parker has somewhat of an interest in what the employees have to say. The BIG difference is that he puts a dollar value on everything. Years ago, catering to the shareholders wasn't a CEO's number one priority, but now that they're cashing in on the stock it is. Running a good operation, with all of the employees on board is where it all starts. Herb knew this, but Doug ignores it.

Running a good operation appears to be the last thing Parker and Isom understand. DFW is a mess and we have a new bid and people don't even know where to report for work. I've never seen anything like it. It's as if Parker and Isom run AA as if it is Envoy. Employees are astounded and amazed along with being disgruntled. Kirby must have been the brains of the operation. We've had some rough times through the years, but this mgmt group creates them.

I’m beginning to think only hope we have is if the BOD wakes the hell up

I wholeheartedly agree. I`ve never been one to beat the drum of doom and gloom but this is getting ridiculous. Stock is in freefall. Customer satisfaction is in the toilet. Heck even Spirit is rated better the the once mighty AA. Employee morale is about the worst I have seen in 30 years. The BOD needs to get involved and make some changes before its too late imho.
