Just got this email.  Anybody know what they are talking about?
 

Descritption: Lync Impact
[SIZE=10pt]Problem:[/SIZE] Desktop Services has identified an issue affecting Lync Services.[SIZE=10pt] 

Business Impact: We are currently experiencing an issue with Lync Services between Legacy AA and Legacy US Lync users. 
[/SIZE]The issue has been identified and effort is underway to restore services to its original state.  
Estimated time for resolution is unknown at this time.  Please do not contact the Helpdesk concerning this incident.  The next update will be released in 1 hour.

My guess is what used to be called Microsoft Communicator, now called Lync.   Looks like an email meant for a narrow distribution list that mistakenly went out to everyone.

Splendid.  I can't wait for the Res Integration.

Probably a good thing that Microsoft plays almost no role in the overall integration of airport or res operations.

I don't think the reservations migration will be all that painful. UA's was because they didn't have the same functionality at the airports, but there was nothing lost as far as the bookings went. Nobody noticed when WN cut over from Navitaire to Amadeus a few months back, and when Jetbleu & WestJet cut over to Sabre, there weren't any issues. Likewise with Aeromexico cutting over from Shares to Sabre.
