Like a parasite lives off the life sustaining nutriments the mechanics brought him for so many years.

I have less of a problem knowing that a hard working utility person is making $18 an hour than watching two thirds of my fellow mechanics not getting off their a$$ to make the condition of our a/c better when given the opportunity, all while making $29 an hour. No group is imune from lack of work ethic. The real issue is Leadership and lack of effective management.

Hey, you won't hear me disagreeing. But those "lazy" mechanics are doing exactly what they are being paid for and in a lot of cases it's doing exactly what you have witness. Look no further then management for staffing and understaffing. I KNOW what I am talking about as I was also one of those lazy bums getting big bucks for sitting on my tuff. Utility works just as hard, that was not my point, BUT they are NOT in line with the other carries who pay half as much and yet this union insist it stands even if what that means is YOUR job loss.

Well the one thing that is pleasant is we are being pleasant to each other...

If you believe you can keep your status-quo while U is on it's last breathe, then that is your belief. I feel so strongly that U will not be able to sustain the same old same old that I was one of the hundreds who retired.

Face it 700, the good old days are over and no amount of chest pounding and pointing to facts will change the fact that you and the unions are on the wrong end of the stick, and not the business end. It's over. Either you accept it or you quit like many are doing, the fat lady is screaming, just like “some" union leaders who believe screaming louder will save the day...to that I say...Good Day...I need to get on with this business called life after U....Bye Bye 700
