If you don't really care why'd you waste your finger strokes, and our time, expressing your opinion here for? If you wan't to talk about the problems that plague this airline, start a new topic. Wise A*****s@@@@s.

A bit off topic, but does any one know if, in the post 9/11 era, you can still take a tour of MHV? It really is quite a fascinating place.

I would love to go. I know it seems odd, but I've always wanted to.

yes you can, get with the fuelers.

There is a group on Yahoo, just dedicated to MHV.

Explain what kind of "winning" fight this guy puts up and what he accomplishes beside an early report that can be read on the union sites a few hours later.

He is non-skilled labor and his only protection will be the union’s skirt and why he goes on ad nauseam. His classification is history as it should be, mechanic he is not, not even close. Like a parasite lives off the life sustaining nutriments the mechanics brought him for so many years. The IAM was wrong mixing skilled and unskilled and then refusing to address this good-old-boy issue and now the fruits are ripening and rotting at their feet....stupid brainless union leaders who collect "dues" and "do" nothing.

Ahh the true Cav has shown his colors.

An elitist.

Hate to tell you but the government does not consider an A&P skilled labor and there are non-licensed and licensed working on A/C all over the US for $13 an hour.

Mobile Aerospace, Pemco, Timco, Tramco and numerous others.

See I believe an AMT is a skilled labor job, the "and relateds" don't affect a AMT's pay.

And for may years I EARNED my own pay, no mechanic's power gave stock clerks and utility "thier" pay.

After the 1992 strike, mechanics got an extra dollar an hour skill pay, so dont play the amfa elitist crap with me.

And if a union leader is "stupid" and "brainless" I guess the $28 an hour the mechanics use to earn which is now $26 before the paycut should only be $13 like the AMTs at the MROs.

Glad you are so closed-minded that you have to insult people that have put thier families on the back burner and lived in hotel rooms and travel and deal with management so that others can have a better life.

No one forced you to take a job that required you to be a member of a union, but the pay and benefits are higher in the unionized aviation field then the non-union. But I would not expect you to understand it. Since you are the master of the flip-flop.

Must suck to be bitter like you are.

Keep trying lavman/boofman/biffman...I don't use my license and unless I go to LUV, never will again. The A&P thing was an after thought.

Point being you took the easy street not going after further training and now when it matters and the fruits of you efforts, "zero" are paying off, in your desperation you are trying to hang onto the union’s skirt like a little child does when he feels lost.

Elitist my ass. The TRUTH. Utility and Stores making what skilled labor does outside the industry is fantasy land and that fantasy is fast closing in on you and the others who did nothing with their life except collect a good wage believing the unions would always be their savior. Well they are not and you are now facing another and very real reality, the "REAL" working work where NON-SKILLED receives what they are worth, NOT MUCH.

Funny how everyone in the AMFA must also be an elitist being they all think like I do...hmmmmmmm

I am banned from bugging that man, but vote-no...you are correct whether that truth hurts or not, it's true. $18 plus an hour to deliver parts can no longer be supported, especially since we must pay millions of dollars to CEO’s who work here for a few months and then leave :p
