Anyone know what's going on with Phoenix pilots ? they are offering incentive pay every day this month and there seems to be a shortage everyday from looking at the PRAS sheets , flights are delayed due to the standby shifts , is this another blunder by our wonderful management team ?
The word from our analysts is that Phoenix is overstaffed , then why is there this mess ?

Probably a job action. They need to realize they are under an injunction.

You may want to move this over to the pilot thread. West pilots are engaging in an illegal job action and should be dealt with accordingly.
 
I'm a West pilot those two are not. I checked today's reserve board for 320 FO's. We have another week left in July, I see hours flown up to 84. I left off the employee numbers and names. The first column is the credit flown to date.

You'll see a lot of the pilots are already flying. There are a lot of shifts uncovered.

Sure it does. Why would the company run understaffed out west? You conspiracy experts like to say that it is east flt ops management "helping" the east, but short staffing the west doesn't do that. They have no plans to add more pilots to the west and are getting by through the summer. Why?

Besides, all that you posted doesn't make much since to those outside of the west pilot group.

It boils down to which pilot group is willing to sell-out and work for cheap all while trying to wiggle out of prior agreements. How is life under LOA 93 wages? Evasion has a price and management will go with pilots who accept lower pay.

I guess it boils down to values. Doesn't it?

We are all working under our previously agreed upon contract. The west just whines more about it and loves to rub our noses in it. Your values preclude you accepting the TA that you agreed on.

Delta/NW had a similar arbitration result (relative seniority). Why can't you accept it's not going DOH anymore? Stop living in the past.

You aren't much into compromise, just like pushing around a smaller group who pushed back. Didn't expect that did ya? SYIC.

Good idea. BTW, as of 1500 today there were no east A320 captains available in CLT.

You still don't get the difference in block vs. pay and why the company may run understaffed until POR, do you?

P.S. All this doesn't make much sense to a non-west pilot and if they aren't a west pilot they couldn't care less.
