TEMPE, Ariz., July 17, 2006 - Winter sports enthusiasts will again have a weekend avenue to the Rocky Mountains this February when US Airways (NYSE: LCC) resumes Saturday-only seasonal service from its Philadelphia hub to Eagle/Vail, Colorado. The flight will utilize 193-seat Boeing 757 aircraft and is now available for booking.

Yes, that's right. Both press releases contain the line "Flight details for the Saturday-only service are as follows:", but no one in Tempe actually bothered to include the schedules, instead releasing them half-finished. Nice work, guys. 🙄

No, it's a bit longer than that.

Here's when they operated it last year, when CCY issued a press release that actually included dates and times, though I'm sure Barbell will explain to me why that was a bad thing. (Tempe still hasn't corrected theirs.)

US Airways To Return To Vail/Eagle For Third Winter Season

ARLINGTON, Va., July 25, 2005 -- US Airways will resume its seasonal nonstop roundtrip Saturday service to the popular ski destination of Vail/Eagle, Colo., from both Charlotte, N.C., and Philadelphia this winter season.

Philadelphia nonstop Saturday service will operate from Dec. 17, 2005, until April 1, 2006, using 193-seat Boeing 757 aircraft. Flights will depart Philadelphia at 9:45 a.m., and will arrive in Vail/Eagle at 12:14 p.m. Return flights will depart at 1:15 p.m., and will arrive in Philadelphia at 6:54 p.m.

Nonstop Charlotte service will operate on Saturdays from Feb. 4, 2006, until March 25, 2006, also using Boeing 757 aircraft. Flights will depart Charlotte at 9:30 a.m., and will arrive in Vail/Eagle at 11:31 a.m. Return flights will depart at 12:30 p.m., and will arrive in Charlotte at 5:45 p.m.

Looks like the CLT flights are the only direct ones in Dec and Jan. PHL is only non-stop starting in February.
