Usair in philly/Chaos in PHL

You must be new to PHL!!
Its like IRAQ you must get the word out to america that is so dangerous and unstable that I hope president bush adrresses the issues at the state of the union meeting or the world summit at the united nations. Im looking out for my fellow americans in philly.
 
Philly chaos goes on in philly you wouldnt believe!Work at your own will. Managers say and do nothing about the secterian violence. Managers are overpaid and scared to disipline workers for fear of retaliation. :shock: :down:

The airline is run like a Wal-Mart in philly. Low wage immigrants with no clue what they are doing.Doug Parker wants to sub-contract the whole airline. Accidents left an right go on driving costs through the roof.The IAM union walked out on the Co. They Co.doesnt want to honor any laguage in our contract which states we get a snap back for our pay cut for post 911 if we merged getting back our money that made usair survive and Doug Parker wants to give nothing back but he will go buy delta for 8 billion.Missed bags ,theft,convicts, felons,All at PHILLY its horrible!!!This airline has no class its ghetto!!! If you want to make a good impression of a business and the passangers see these low lifes with doo-rags out of uniforms running this airline ...ask yourself the question..would u fly Usair? Its a saftey hazrd to passangers when thes immigrants have no license driving equipment until they pass driving school that Usair pays for its putting passangers at RISK....You decide!!!!!

:angry: Usair is sub-contracting workers buy using a program that flys in kenya/ an liberians on work visa's. They acutally work the ramp before they are cleared internationally through customs. We also have new hire workers on the ramp at usair who are still waiting clearance for backround checks while they are training. If we are so worried about homeland security how come the Gov. lets Usair allow these employess access airplanes/ramp etc. Poor policy on the airlines behalf.Then Usair wonders why they have to hire a STING operation to catch these criminals stealing laptops etc.
 
You cant work the ramp unless your security clearance has been done.

The airports will not issue a SIDA badge unless it has been completed.

Thaks for clearing that up. I was talking to a new hire an he told me he was waiting for his backround check to come back.He was being escorted by employees with badges so I wasnt sure why he told me that. Thank you

We DO have employees without SIDA badges in Philly!
They must be within 50 feet of their badged escort while in the SIDA area.
It takes the PHL badging office 2 weeks to get a new hire an appointment to have their picture taken.

Am I the only one that sees serious security issues with this policy?

It is not as though it is particularly difficult to get a SIDA badge, but at least there is one more screen to hopefully identify risky individuals.
