Record Breaking Labor Day Weekend Stats

This past Labor Day weekend US Airways broke two records: on-time departures (D:00) and on-time arrivals (A14). Thanks to everyone’s hard work and dedication, on Sept. 6 we had 89.94 percent of our flights leave on time and 95.58 percent arrive within 14 minutes of published arrival time; the best D:00 and A14 since the merger! We also had the best overall Labor Day weekend, Sept. 4-7, performance since the merger, with a D:00 at 83.92 percent and A14 at 90.63 percent! When we run an on-time airline customers notice and choose to fly with US again. It is a great start to September; let’s keep up the momentum. Great job!

With the baggage and on-time performance for July along with low jet fuel prices, US may have been a pretty good month. Better than being poked in the eye with a sharp stick.
