When will the shareholder rise up and kick Scooter and Doggie OUT? Gees gross incompetence.
 
Ha, I agree. I think the employee group should have our triple play “bonusâ€￾ paid similar to Dougwiser’s executive compensation plan. It would go something like if US Airways is at least 8th out of 13 peers in any three measured metrics everyone gets $50. At least 6th out of 13 peers in any three measured metrics everyone gets $75. At least 4th out of 13 in any three measured metrics everyone gets $100. And finally if US Airways is in the top 2 in any three measured metrics everyone gets $200.

He got a bonus because the gate agent busted their rear doing double time because the west FA's complain from -45 to -25, and STILL get the flight out on time.

Huh? The West F/A's come up with every possible excuse to delay a flight, including my favorite - to call for trash removal 10 minutes before D:0, even though all of the trash was taken off the plane 30 minutes earlier by utility personnel.

The sarcasm and entitlement that comes through the headset from the West Captain/FO to the East ramp crews is out of hand. There are many times when the ramp crew finishes 5 minutes before D:0 and waits 10 minutes or more for the West flight deck crew to finish their checklists and call for a push back. And most times, they are sarcastic about the service they received from the ramp/gate. Then, to top it off, they cover their ineptness by releasing the brakes at D:0 to show an "on time departure" in ACARS, even though they are still sitting in the flight deck pissing around.

What a way to run a railroad.

First of all there is not more utility.

Second ACARS doesnt show off the gate until cargo doors are closed, wheels are turning at a certain speed and engine is running.

That is the way it was set up on the East side when I was still there.
 
I think this one has veered far enough off topic, and has denigrated into another east/west argument.

Regarding Doug's compensation, I think all that needs to be said has been....
