Good afternoon all,
I am going to attend the upcoming f/a information session on March 15th and have a few questions.
How early should I show up? The website mentions that seating will be limited to the first 150 applicants.

After the information session, is a personal interview scheduled? If so, should I expect to come back within the next couple of days?

When are training classes scheduled? Due to school, I would be available any time after May 5th. Would HP/US be willing to place me in a class in the later part of may or early june?

Is there any further advise any one can offer?
Thank you all for your help and advise!

Simon

Usually they will allow you to attend a later class if you are hired, but seniority IS everything in this biz.

DON'T WAIT

Show up early! Like an hour early. They really do close the door if you are not in that 150. So, get your place in line. Don't be nervous. Dress professionally. Nothing flashy or trashy. Strictly business. Smile alot and keep upbeat (not annoying) but, just like you wanna be there and you are excited! And remember NEVER to tell them the reason you want to be a flight attendant is because you love to travel and fly! That is not what they want to hear and I am sure if they had a dollar for everytime they have heard it they could start their own airline.GOODLUCK!!!

Exactly, follow the above and you will do great!

Hi Greany! Do show up early! Do look good!

Most likely you will not get an interview after the information session. After the IS you have the opportunity to fill out an application. They may/may not have time to review the app while you are there.

It is a tragically long process, so May would not be a problem. Usually it takes 6 weeks for the whole process.

Good luck!

Good news! After my interview, I was selected to continue through the hiring process. Due to school obligations, I may not be able to start untill the September training class. As of right now, there is only a May class or a Sept. class. Do any of you current employees know if perhaps they may add an other class this summer?

Congratulations!!
Training class schedules ALWAYS change. They're always adding or canceling, so there is a good chance they will add one in the summer.
Good Luck!
