I do not know what is going on, except that at such a LOW price, investors are willing to take a chance with such a low price.

Thoughts???????????????

Some of US Airways' price move on Friday could have been due to the unraveling of option activity, but the open interest was relatively small.

I suspect the word is getting out on "The Street" that labor is agreeing to begin negotiations on the "Transformation Plan". The ALPA MEC will go into special session on Thursday to discuss management's shopping list/valuations, formal negotiations with the pilots begin on June 1, AFA will hire a consultant and pension actuary to evaluate the company's proposal, and there are reports the IAM and the company are about to talk.

Today's move in the security was even more impressive and it now appears there is more than just retail volume becasue institutions may be making a play.

Why? The best time to go long to make some big money is when it appears the world is about to end and pessimism is at its greatest.

Dependent upon the timeframe average volume is about 500,000 shares per day, which is very low for any security, but today over 3,000,000 shares traded hands. This amount of volume provided the pressure behind the move and is significant from a technical analysis perspective.

What will be interesting to see is if the move can be sustained with further accumulation or will profit taking over after the security has seen about a 100% gain since a low of $1.44 last Thursday morning.

Respectfully,

Having spent more than a quarter century with someone that spends every waking moment watching/trading the market and working ON Wall Street (and quite successfully, I might add) ... he read your synopsis and laughed his a$$ off.

Try again! Dead cat bounce.

Lark:

It’s clear you do not understand what you are talking about, but what’s new?

Is the security high risk? Absolutely, but that’s where the big money is made.

By the way, he must have read my "synopsis and laughed his a$$ off", communicated to you, and then had you type your response in less than eight minutes from the published posting times.

Do you always watch my posts and communicate with others not connected with the company to get their opinions of my comments within minutes?

Dear Pilot:

You do not know my background nor my qualifications. You, on the other hand have made everyone abundantly clear of your many psychoses not only the by the number of posts but the repetitive nature of those posts. I do know the markets, he does read over my shoulder when I ask him to --- and he did laugh his a$$ off because you are comical and quite a study in psychological disorders.

I do not follow you, per se. However, considering your dementia, you may continue to believe that...just like all the other delusions you already ascribe to. Everyone has your number, but you. Poor thing.

Oh, and we are not in any way connected with the company, as you put it. We just follow you. 😀 Sweetums

Lark:

Did your crack friend who has "spent more than a quarter century with someone that spends every waking moment watching/trading the market and working ON Wall Street (and quite successfully, I might add)" miss the following CBSMarketWatch report?

Airline stocks finish mixed

Maybe he needs "Nodoze" to conduct his trading because he missed this report.

Lark, maybe you better get a better financial manager.

Respectfully,

I find your last comment interesting, but before your 25-year vet trades against me, I suggest he or she get a News Service.

Let me offer you a quality retail product for your experienced colleague:

If this service is to expensive, try this one:

which has premium streaming news from Dow Jones.

I married my husband in 1976, he was already trading. He was trading in Pittsburgh at the time and then we moved to NYC so that he could trade for another firm on Wall Street. He has a reputation that preceeds him, and is often head hunted -- he is quoted and he is respected.

He is rolling on the floor laughing his a$$ off -- we think you are hilarious! Thanks for this evening's entertainment.

Lark:

By the way, can you tell us in less than 8 minutes what your 25-year crack vet said about the effect NYMEX energy futures had UAIR's prive move when the contracts closed today at an all time high?

With all due respect, was it bullish or bearish?

By the way, who issued the marriage license and is your husband still employed trading? I think Live Charts Plus for $19.95 would be a good product for him.

Respectfully,

Lark,

When your done sparring with USA320Pilot, ask your hubby to comment on Uair.
Dead cat bounce does not seem appropriate with a volume of 3mil today and high volme for 3 consec. days.

Thanks in advance
