U.S. Teen Arrested For Plane Hijack Plot

FBI spokesman George Bolds told The Associated Press the 16-year-old boy was removed from Southwest Airlines Flight 284 Tuesday night by authorities at Nashville International Airport and found with "suspicious" items.

Bolds said the teen had handcuffs, rope and duct tape in his bag and was believed to be traveling alone. The juvenile's name has not been released.

"His plan had a low probability of success," Bolds said.

I wonder if that was flyingman. I guess he wanted to get WN to increase flights at IAD!

So let me get this straight, the flight was from Los Angeles to Nashville. The teen was arrested in Nasville with suspicious items. Handcuffs, rope and duct tape were found in his bag.

In Nashville? On a flight that originated from California?

The kid was a fool, but why did he get these items on the plane? Hmmm, something smells rotten in The Secure Area! Keep taking those liquids and don't worry about it. The Sleeping Arrangements are doing fine.

Go about your buisiness, Citizen!

The Kid is lucky. The last time someone tried to take over a southwest plane the passengers killed him. LAS 2 SLC in 2000.

I think saying "the passengers killed him" may be a bit harsh. Wasn't he (the passenger) found to have had PCP in his system? Kind of like when the cops subdue someone who's high as a kite and he/she dies of cardiac arrest during or right after being subdued...

yes he was on drugs and his death was by burking. Passengers sat on his chest to subdue him and suffocated him. Just a "harsh" reality... <_<

Did the TSA or the LEOs or the FBI realize the kid was meeting some Dominatrix in Nashville on Collarme.com? I was reading flyertalk and this was brought up...what a kinky SOB!
