The TWU just lost an election for representation.

I guess after seeing what the TWU did for AA they figured they were better off with no union as opposed to a company union.

The TWU managed to get a whopping 4 votes. For every one person that wanted the TWU there were four who did not.

Here is the link.

They also lost at Continental. They could not even get 35% to sign cards! Look at all the workers they wanted to eliminate from the vote! What ever happened to "Industrial unionism"? One size fits all! A loaf of bread! Shameful how the TWU wanted to dump all those working people at Continental! What hypocrites!

TWU, the word is out throughout the industry. TWU is The Worst Union. Five years from now and you will be out of the industry.

In this link;

, the TWU contends that Ogdens baggage handlers should not be covered under the RLA! Now they are trying to remove baggage handlers from the industry!

Lets not forget ACA, the dispatchers there rejected the TWU;

Hopefully we will see us on the site next year saying AMFA-CERTIFIED, PAFCA -CERTIFIED, AGW-CERTIFIED

Bob,

The twu local 513 is currently negotiating concessions with Allied fuelers at DFW. They have already given them the best we can do speech and a 17.5% paycut, where do I know that number. Funny how Allied can't make money despite the price of fuel going up. :down:

When I first started in this industry Allied fuelers made more than aircraft mechanics. They were Teamsters then I believe. Somewhere along the line another company, Ogden, bought Allied and they became TWU. Its been downhill ever since for those guys.

We know the TWU's motto "You keep the dues flowing and we will keep the wages low". We see this at at AA, we see it at SWA where the lowest paid flight attendants are and we see it at Swissport and Worldwide where the lowest paid baggage handlers are. If you want to find the lowest paid union workers in the airline industry all you have to do is look for the TWU logo!

I suppose they had to take the pay cuts because their pay was over the percentage of revenue that the company was willing to pay. after all we know that the TWU would never want to upset the company, right if you are reading this J7915?

The TWU couldn't organize their way out of a paper bag but, they sure are trying to show they spent a lot of money trying. Maybe this is where they spent the 2,158,504$ organizing??? Sure seems execsive to me!!! This is from the TWU's LM-2 form.

I think a large portion of that went towards the Delta drive.

Imagine the TWU trying to organize Delta? They get the same concessions without paying dues! Why the hell would a Delta employee want the TWU?
