There might be some nice sized crowds at the Trump and Cruz rally in KC today.  But most folks downtown won't be there for either of them.  The Big 12 basketball championship is in KC at Sprint Center...just down the street from where Trump will be.  Yesterday at 5 p.m. they were reporting that eastbound I70 was pretty much at a standstill from Lawrence to KC (about 40 miles) with people trying to get downtown for the games.  KU basketball is pretty much a religion here, and people will go, even if they can't get into Sprint Center.  There might be some stragglers who wander around for something to do while the game is going on.
