You're dealing with educated, professionals.

I believe the degree I hold from the Univ of Tulsa makes me more than qualified Flyguy!!! Oh, what, did you not think I was educated as well?????? Fooled ya' didn't I???!! That just goes to show you how wrong you are!!!!

By the way "shinney" is spelled shiny! I don't think I needed an advanced degree to tell me that!!!
Do they teach the difference between "than" and "then" in Tulsa U?

I figured someone would bring that up Bob. ;) I guess not all college grads are perfect like you!! You do have a college education don't you Bob? I don't think I took spelling or English for that matter at TU. I got my basics out of the way at a university in Edmond. I guess I should work on that "then-than" thing huh??!! I mean you aren't allowed too many type-os on usaviation before the thought police come and get you. I only brought up Flyguy's because he was talking about people with an education (or lack of) and then in the same sentence, I believe, mispelled a word. Looked kind of silly!!! Couldn't pass that one up!!!
 ;)

Thanks Bob, for bringing it to twuer's attention that none of can spell worth a damn. It's the message, not the spelling I'm looking at. Alot of ink can be wasted here correcting each other if that's want you want. They got me on my spelling error, but didn't seem to disagree on the overall statement.

TWU and AA in bed together, attempting to fraud the Government, the Membership, and All Mechanics in the Profession.

This will not stand.

I agree Dave, my God! I mean , just imagine what would have occurred if we had not held our own bedfellow, how would we had received the information we sought?

And let's not forget about the welders of the world!

Look for the NBM Investigator Hennessey to grant the American Airlines Mechanic and Related Craft or Class a representational election on or before June 12th, 2004.

Final statements regarding protest of the original eligibility list have now been submitted.

The attempt by AA Management and the TWU Leadership to inflate the list has failed, and for the first time since the 1940's the workers will decide who should be the bargaining agent for the Mechanic and Related at AA.

Good luck, and thanks to everyone for years of hard work and sacrifice to make this a reality.

You heard it here first, and...

Perfect like me? I never claimed that.

I never heard of any college that did not require some Liberal Arts credits for a degree. My college is limited to Associates degrees and to get that I did have to take English. Spelling is usually covered in primary school. Must be your low taxes at work there.

Your typos and grammar dont really concern me, but, I like knowing that it obviously is a tender spot with you. My concern really lies with your either deliberate or unintentionable effort to mislead members of this union into thinking that the TWU leadership really has thier best interests at heart.

The truth is that the leaders of this union have nothing but contempt for the people they are supposed to be representing. This contempt is displayed by comments from TWU supporters on this board who claim that our decline is entirely our fault, as members, and not the fault of those who brought these agreements back, told us it was the best we were ever going to get and that we had better accept them. I have personally witnessed International leaders such as Sonny Hall and Jim Little say disparaging remarks about the membership as a whole. Once Local leaders are elected the International works to seperate these elected leaders from those who put them there by acting the role of the "good cop", the one who "understands", the one who will "be there" to protect them against the "ungrateful", "unsupportive" membership. "Its a thankless job" they love to say, you hear it all the time. From Sonny Hall to your local steward. Its a line that reveals the nature of the beast. Its a line that every member that ever paid dues or ever cast a ballot should take as the greatest of insults. To have been given such trust and call it a thankless job just shows how these people really feel about those who they claim to be representing.
