This is what the forward galley looked like on my recent trip from Munich. You should have seen the look on the passengers faces as they boarded. Is this the new minimalistic look at US Airways? :D

Are you kidding me!? I would freak out if I were a passenger. This is unacceptable! This entire management has no clue the *$%^#& they are doing. They must go.....NOW. I hear the calls for a new leadership getting louder and louder everyday. This just get worse and worse. These people are out of their element.

What the heck!!! This is the standard U has drop to inorder to squeeze profits. USACREW3 you really made me laugh with that one :D !

Mechanics here can confirm this, but that missing ceiling panel is purely cosmetic and not a safety of flight issue.

Yes, it looks bad. The crew should not have accepted it. More of the shrug salute that is becoming all too common at what once was a proud company. Whose fault would that be?

If it is not a "safety of flight" issue (and I am sure it isn't), how could the crew not have "accepted" it?

It may not be a safety issue, but it sure does a lot for passenger perspective.

US Airways is such a joke now. Its so sad to see this airline that has such great employees and had such a classy image now flying its international planes around in chipped paint and missing ceilings like a third world airline. "Hang on to your straw seats folks, we're in business today and cleared for takeoff." Thanks Dave.

By simply not going until the situation is resolved. Captain Authority, that kind of thing. Another missing element in addition to the cosmetics of that airplane.

Please don't misunderstand me, I love my airline, I think we have a great workforce and the potential to be a worldwide carrier. Passengers loved our service. We had a great international product. Now, we serve "Daves Donuts" in the middle of the night for a "Welcome To Europe" we sell Headsets under the guise that the movies are complimentary. Our service sucks. We have napkins tied together to address the cabin division issue now that we no longer have curtains. Our agents are stressed. Our mechanics are maxed out. Our passengers are forced to stand in a line and bake for hours at a time once they arrive in Philadelphia after a transatlantic flight to get back through security. Can someone answer why they have to go back through security in the first place. I need to give the answer to the numerous people who find me in the concourse yelling that they will never fly on us again. To anyone in power who is reading this, you really need to see the lines at the A concourse on a daily basis and be ashamed of yourself. Please remember that Europeans go home and talk about their trip to America with everyone. By the way, Glasgow is a great destination and thank you for flying there, however, Glaswegians will not put up with our @#$*&*!

Hmmmmm..... Let's think about this a second.

Less weight, a more spacious feel. Think of the fuel savings we could have if we removed more of these "cosmetic panels".

After all. we're losing money here, minimalistic could be the key.

Then agian, we could tar and feather the pin heads running this airline; embarassing us, and scaring away our wonderful customers!
