How did the invasion of Iraq go down? Was it pundits/talking heads making a case for war and GWB caving into the pressure? Or was it GWB making a case and the pundits/talking heads getting their marching orders and repeating what the administration was saying?

If I remember, a large group of our allies looked on with horror over the atrocities going on in Iraq and demanded something be done.
