The original article 700 posted may not be entirely accurate:http://abc13.com/news/witness-who-fired-on-carjackers-sought-after-nw-houston-attack-/1004386/Nowhere in ABC's version of the story is it mentioned that the owner was shot, and the comments in the KHOU version seem to allude that their story needed to be updated with what really happened, i.e. an initial assumption was made that he was shot, but his injuries were actually due to being beaten by the carjackers. Comments in the ABC version come back around to the KHOU version that the owner was shot.Either way, the guy who intervened may have ultimately saved this guys truck from being stolen.
