So tell me why we the indigent and/or illegals deserve free healthcare.

It's pretty much the same concept -- if you're not paying into the system, you shouldn't receive the benefits or service.

If you are unable to differentiate the differences between property and health related issues I am not sure what to tell you. You seem like a very bright individual. I have read your posts on the airline issues and you seem to have very well thought out arguments and then you come on this forum and just seem to loose your mind and post something like this where you claim ignorance and the inability to tell the difference between health and property. I do not get it.

How do you know they choose not to?
You do know that there are a class of people that $75 is a lot of money.

When you look at the cost of home ownership, $75 is not a lot of money as a percentage of the whole. The cost now may be greater. While I am a bit sympathetic to their plight I suspect that they were banking on not needing the service so they did not want to pay. I thought the same thing about my alarm permit which is $50. I figured what are the odds of my house being robbed? Then I decided is playing the odds on that game really worth $50 a year? I made the investment of the alarm system to protect my home, why waste it.
