The twu atd is retaliating against the Line Stations because as a whole the Line Stations are putting a big cramp in the twu's smoke and mirror machine. The twu atd is getting to blow a gasket because an informed membership doesn't work well with their unaccountable and bastardized democracy. So now they are creating a new local and revoking the charters for all the Line Stations. Boo, hoo! Poor old unaccountable, THREE TIMES MORE THAN WHAT AN AMT EARNS, appointed twu atd officials.

They haven't screwed over the membership enough so now they are pouring salt into an already open wound. The twu atd thought they "solved their problem" with the true craft union men within AA. The twu atd thought they had come up with something better than another empty slogan.

But alas sweat is beading on the twu atd's collective forehead. Hence the creation of Team Videtich. This "team" is an attempt to have control of the new local with people loyal to Don.
"Hey, come on over for dinner and let me tell you a story."

So getting known yes men is the tact being taken. But as we all know democracy is no friend of the twu atd and democracy will be their down fall. So in my opinion don't vote for Team Videtich.

Why would the line elect Don Videtichs old executive board to run local 591. Soldevere (Videtich retread - former VP to Videtich), Curtis ( Videtich retread - personally appointed EAP from all the way back in their days together at local 513), Cohen (retread - Videtichs midnight section chairman then wound up be his personally appointed safety guy when he had no place else to go), & Hatfield (retread - Videtichs personally treasury, I mean treasurer...funneled union money into Videtichs church...maybe he was trying to help him buy back his soul).

Yes, looking at Ken's list above - every one of those guys listed is a loyal follower of Lord Videtich. Every one of those guys has been mixed up in one controversy or another while in office. The mere fact that any of these ass hats have the audacity to throw their hat in the ring for another TWU leadership position speaks volumes to the quality of their character. Instead of humbly stepping down, and disappearing into anonymity like a normal person would do. Makes me sick!
