BTW: Who does the paint jobs on our a/c. Are they an outsourcing outfit??
Yup. They are also responsible for the damage to A/ 573, the very ugly "dot com" plane. I'm sure soneone will post link to that thread. Nest time you see 573. take a look at the all the extra rivets and lap joints.

I think we have bigger issues then paint jobs at this point ;) ;) ;) ;)
Paint chipping on the aircraft, duct tape keeping the carpet down, nasty carpet, broken overhead bins, worn out seats, OLD, worn out uniforms...yeah, my friend, who the hell cares? Let's just drive off the remaining customers that we haven't pissed of yet.

I hope you aren't in management or we are really in trouble. If you have no direct contact with the front line, may I suggest you observe how much this company is physically falling apart.

You are right First Amendment. I have also seen duct tape holding up interior molding. Have you ever seen some of the tray tables? What a mess. More and more passengers are having trouble keeping their seat backs up. The seat are having a mind of their own. I have come close many times to tripping over the frayed carpet and duct tape on the floors. Alot of 737's paint is chipping off in to the galleys from the doors. It is embarassing. It's like the planes are getting old and worn out, just like this company. :( :(

That's funny - I guess they're not bolting from Star in favor of SkyTeam after all. Just another in a long string of failed predictions.
I'm as shocked as you that the preposterous prognosticator's prediction failed to come true yet again. (NOT!)

I would look at what aircrafts have to get a heavy check with in the next few months. Those will most likely bee the ones that will be repainted.

And regarding the B737, there is still a chance that U will faze them out and replace them with A320’s. In that case why put money into them.

And please get real regarding the magnetic STAR Logo. The magnetic Logo would not be permitted by the FAA and would immediately develop a life of its own during take-off.

AMEN! The east coast has been a gaping hole in the death * alliance; with the addition of UAIR, this definitely plugs that hole. I hope to see UAIR gain a lot of domestic feed from all of our * partners.
