If the changes are not on the term sheet, there is NO change to the previous agreement.

The IAM and the company will be sitting down within the next few weeks to write and proof ANY approved changes to the previous agreement.

Please show me where anything in the book that has "shown" up was not voted on, except the letters of agreement.

Do you want me to get out my current contract book and go line for line the things that were not in the orginal contract proposal from the 1999 negotiations?

From the first round of cutbacks in 2002/2003 would you like to go down the list of things in the proposal that did not make it into the final book?

Wake up.. This happens all the time.. They sit down to proof it, give me a break. They sit down to coffee and donuts and the company tells them what it going to be in the book..

All it takes is one word in the contract.. One word.. Or should I say one word that is not in the contract.. Remember the 1992 snap back? If you remember we LOST THAT ONE because of the wording.. ooops..

The union said "They can do that"..

Say what you want 700.. The truth will be when the first layoff notices come out and mechanics expect their severance and the company says "Ooopsy"..

"Read your book Yes Voter and thanks"..

Read everyone putting a post on here.. They all know the union is never up front and everyone agree's things just show up in the book that were not there when we had the term sheets.

The union says its PFM. Go figure.

The reason the 1992 snap back was lost in arbitration because the arbiter ruled the company applied it their way to every group, not because of the lanaguage.

And why don't you pull it out and show us, because I know I read what I voted on before I voted, shame on you if you did not do the same.

Talking about the 92 snap backs is like protesting Bush's inauguration, it just doesn't matter.

The IAM is made of men and women who chose to cave for the third time to corporate America. The IAM is not some "thing", it's you and every other soul who pays dues and just because you are disgruntled only means you are a miserable person and nothing else.

No not line by line but please post the major ones so everyone including 700 can see the truth.

Exactly how did the company interpret the Airbii farmout?

Yeah, they lost arbitration, but won the BK.

Ever hear of losing the battle, and winning the war?

What's to stop them from interpreting the term sheet ( I will not dignify it with the term, contract) any freakin' way they please?

The IAM?

Ha!

Another unhappy individual who likes to use ten dollar words trying to fill the void within.

Some of you people write like the IAM is a separate and distant entity as alien as if from another galaxy who owns your will creating a hopelessly dependant membership who lacks any and all control of their situation, their very destiny is at the IAM’s mercy.

Sort of like an unhappy individual, who upon reading a post he disagrees with, labels the poster and puts words into their mouth?

A newbie, who not reading posts of the past, does not know that the poster he is castigating HAS involved himself, to the best of his abilities, in his union?

And I'm not going to use 5 dollar words so you can feel better about yourself.
