My camera was sitting in my passenger seat when this truck drove by with a huge banner about your GoFares. Ive seen this truck a few times now driving through the streets of FLL.

Don't forget I have crashpads here for anyone moving here. B)

Really makes ya want to go out and buy a ticket huh?...

Talk about a boring ad...Looks more like a Ryder Moving Truck...

Is this to counter the low morale of the employees...the uneasyness of the public after blareing threats to liquidate the airline if the last drop of blood remains in an AFA,IAM & CWA employee....

And remarks by the CEO OF Darkness that giving a penny up of his bloated $400,000 salary can't save the airline, so he'll keep all of his $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$....

The marketing department must have spent atleast $25.00 for a neighbors kid to paint a truck for that one....

WOW...Very cool colors!....

OMG...

man can you imagine if they wanted our airplanes to be painted in those colors!!!

It's called Lufthansa.

Although, I agree the layout is poor. You need to emphasize the website more... with it so low, you'll frequently not see it beneath car rooftops.

WOW!
What a great ad from CCY MArketing Dept. A few thoughts after enlarging the pictures.

1. No logo anywhere. Maybe the circle is for going around in circles and going nowhere. Is marketing scared to put the logo on it and why?
2. The website address is to low. Yes, I am sure they want it at eye level for all to see but look at it in both pictures enlarged. If truck is stuck in traffic and I am sure it is most of the time in FLL, then only the cars beside it can read it. Less exposure. If at top or placed higher then all at rush hour could see it in traffic.
3. On the second picture it looks more like a delivery van for the Subway store in the back ground. (Same colors) Since truck ad panels are so small between them maybe it was place where Subway has "Jarred" jump out of and dash inside and grab a low carb sandwhich or deliver the food to Gate Gourmet for Dave S.
4. Copy is just boring with all the generic destinations. I realize that you can only put a few items on it but it is very hard to read even with very little on the ad.
5. Reversed copy is very hard to read and it is all over the truck. That is marketing 101.
6. Actually they had a better truck but that company would not accept the 23% cut US made them take so they found an old Ryder Delivery truck with crushed in sidepanels and slapped this on it.
7. They also called the shows "Overhauled" and "Pimp my ride." Then after they were going to change the truck CCY stopped it as they thought FLL was a boring city and went with this look instead. CCY Marketing Dept did say since website is down low it is hip because it can be called a low rider and fares are low. Bad news is nobody can see the site to log on and book. It should be called the "low ridership ad truck."
8. Also, hear rumor that another truck is being worked on in Mobile but it had mechanical before it made it out of Mobile city limits. TOG! Truck on the ground.
9: I hope they instructed the driver of the truck to be able to try and explain what the ad is on back of truck. He will do better job at rush hour yelling out the window to cars near by that are asking what the heck is on the back of the truck.
10. This looks like a college freshman project in marketing that would get and deserve an F. For all the sacrifices the employees are taking you deserve better.
11. If this truck is a diesel then some might just say "go away" when it belches smoke all over them in rush hour.

Regards to the good people in the field with US.

Another fine example from the drooling retard school of airline management. This is what happens when you have the B-Team in the Marketing Department. Go This!

When I first looked at it, I thought it was advertising Gofers. Why would anyone buy a gofer? We poison 'em around here.

LOL....all the gophers are holed up in CCY, staching away the cash for a rainy payday.

$425,000 for a 6 BILLION dollar company is bargain basement wages profitable or not.

What do you think Gordon Bethune would want to come to US? I've no idea but it would make Dave Siegel's deal look like minimum wage at McDonalds.

It's bargain basement when the 6 million dollar company posts profits. I agree on the bonus carrot-and-stick; the catch is actually having a plan that works and the company makes profits over several quarters. Quite frankly, even SuperCEO couldn't save the place now as past CEO's have left their kryptonite all over the place.
