Amfa Members are out in front of the Tulsa Maintenance Base holding a Sign that says;

NO HOPE WITH NO SCOPE!

Amfa believes that our Scope Clause is Unenforceble. Can you see Amfa members trying to tell AA that the work cannot go out during an Arbitration case when AA has a picture of this. How stupid can someone be. Here they are  preaching we want your vote at the same time telling AA to farmout your Work??

Stupid as Stupid can be!!!!

They are simply telling the members what the company and the International already know. Dont you think its about time the members know? OF COURSE NOT!

That is correct and the IAM has simular language and won in court at USAIR.

The TWU has consistantly held the the farmout ratio at 20% for many Years and it has been held up in Arbitration. It works. I stand by my first post.

An Arbitrator will have a field day!

CIO,

If the TWU has "iron clad" Scope Language or even half ass scope language, then why are you always quoted as saying "we are working with management" to bring work in-house?

With members on the street, if you really had some language, you would be DEMANDING not begging for work?

Your actions do not match your rhetoric, and the results do not match your claim.

The bigger question is, if you really gave concessions for jobs, why didn't you demand and get the scope language instead of begging for work 10 months after the sellout?

Your lies are adding up, and are being documented.

The current Scope Clause is Cr@p!

The content of the current work is SPECIFICALLY CHALLENGED as is the WORK ON ALL FLEET TYPES ENTERING OR LEAVING SERVICE.

As to the volume of current work: that is completely left to the Companys' discretion.

Bottom line: the Company outsourced the upgrades to the entertainment systems as well as their mx. The Company outsourced the mx on all Rolls-Royce Equipment by not Contractually Guaranteeing the work will be done in house.

The only real limit on outsourcing under the line, overhaul and cross service agreements id that 51% will be performed by AMR Mechanics.

..and again

Article 1-Recognition and Scope

...It is understood that nothing in this article requires the maintenace of the present volume of work.

Is this Rick Mullins...CIO, dumb or what?!!!
