NEW YORK, June 6 (Reuters) - Standard and Poor's raised its ratings on AMR Corp (AMR.N: Quote, Profile, Research) and its subsidiary American Airlines on Tuesday, citing the company's improved earnings and cash flow prospects.
AMR's better revenue generation and ongoing cost-cutting efforts have more than offset the effect of high fuel prices, S&P said.
