Does anyone know what US plans to use in the future for 30-seat markets? Unlike Embrear, Bombardier doesnt offer a 30-ish seater. I think 44 is the smallest they go. They cant possibly need a 50 seater for every market. Will they stick with the props or bring yet another fleet type into the system?

As a passenger I would like to see something along the lines of the EMB135 or similar--I have heard the Do 328 jet is too slow and unreliable.

The DH-8's are getting really ratty--inside and out. With all due respect to my friends here who fly them and work them, it's getting time to replace them. I was in one Wednesday night on my way back to ISP and it never stopped buzzing inside--every panel was loose. It actually got worse when the pilot synched the props and set them to flight RPM.

It's a good question as to what could replace them--and DON'T say B-1900's.

and the cramped, noisy, no overhead space junk jet(erj) is better?

Just flew for the first time last week on one of those midget jets. Faster, yes but I'm still not impressed. Too claustrophobic and cramped.

You should try riding in my Cherokee 140.....
