If US Airways manages to survive, it wants to bring low fares and better service to Richmond International Airport, a top company executive said this week.

"I can't sit here and tell you when GoFares will come to Richmond, but I can say our public goal is to bring low fares everywhere we fly," [Chiames] said.

I CAN sit here and tell you it will be about two and a half minutes after LUV announces service to RIC.

I didn't read the entire article. It might have already said this.

PSA started flyimg RIC-TPA direct on saturdays. I saw it on my buddy's schedule. I don't know if we are continuing this service, but at PSA we've been told to expect more point to point flying. RIC-TPA is our first point to point market. Are we still doing this? I saw this schedule back in late June or early july.

Does anyone in CCY know how to ACT instead of REACT?!?!?!

The answer is an obvious "NO"!! They don't even react well and to be "proactive" is not in their vocabulary, in my view.

As of last Saturday it was still flying. Loads inbound to TPA have been full or very close with loads outbound upper 30s low 40s most of the time. I think this would be a good route for daily service once or twice a day. Lots of connections to RIC from both afternoon CLT and PHL flights.
