Repeating the past?

<_< ----- Hey Bears! We hear you in surround sound! ---- But if it would happen, my question was, "How would it be handled?" Would their employees have DOH senority, sloted in, or stapled?

My guess is if its NWA the TWU would demand stapling, AMFA would call for an election and the TWU would call in favors from wherever they can to deny a vote.

If its Continental the TWU would Dovetail in order to prevent an election.

The Teamsters are mounting a card drive at UAL so it might not be AMFA.

Since the IBT has no intrest in really doing anything the mechs I know at UAL are content to stay with AMFA. If the IBT had made a move over at AA then they could have demonstrated that they really want to bring change but thats not the case.

No kidding! Any organization that refuses to rid the TWU out of the industry is no friend of mine.

They would rather pander to some no-raid agreement than help the mechanic raise the standard of living by ousting the most docile union in the industry.

Although I would rather have any representation beyond the TWU, the teamsters have shown where their true beliefs are by refusing to help us out at AA.

But please just give me ballot to have a shot at ousting the TWU and I will do the right thing!
