Reconfigured A321s

UW Cactus,

Isn't it "Normal Business Hours" in sunny Tempe today? Please refer to the "Code Of Business Conduct and Ethics" bottom of page 29 and top of page 30.

Are you using your company computer to post? POLICY VIOLATION

Your "signature" at the bottom of each post identifies you as an employee. POLICY VIOLATION

Are you using your personal computer during non working hours while Identifying yourself as an employee? POLICY VIOLATION

So my question is: When ya leaving US Airways there tough guy? Or is this part of your job?

Wow man, you're wrong on all of this. Nice try though!! Keep trying though, I know you need some sort of negativity in your life.

Why don't you check the data so far this winter and see how many times USAirways aircraft had to stop for fuel so far this year?

I have been flying those trips in multiple aircraft types since 1991, and I don't recall as many fuel stops in the past. Even on the B737-300/400.

Doing the maximum with the minimum. That's our motto.

Another factor is that the East dispatchers are under pressure from management to put the minimum amount of fuel on board flights to counter the pilots' refusal to single-engine taxi and use gate electrical power (with the exception of the company stooges who still don't "get it").

Many times, this is accomplished by using an unrealistic alternate just to make the dispatch fuel "legal".

There are some pilots who will demand extra fuel. There are others who say, "You wanna play this game? Fine. Fuel stops pay me more block time."

When will it stop??

When we cause the yields to drop!

When we cause Labor Unrest

In short when it effects the bottom line.

Then and only then will they react.

Piney,

It a sounds a tad bit reactionary to me.

Did you ever think of joing the Iraq insurgency? I think they have openings.

Of course you'd have to choose a new name that goes with the terriroty and maybe even a disguise. :afro:

Barry ( you can call me Mustafa  )

LOL Travelpro & Buffalojoe---oooo my-- righton---321 is such a loser on long (heavy)legs---classmates fly it---that thing is nothing but a bumblebee trying to haul a trashcan around on its back---leave it on BDL to MCO all day long where it belongs. Just go to WALMART and update the 757 VCR's with DVD players and run a great big drop cord down the center for the laptop folks.

This is great for the flight crews the more we stop the longer it will take, we're paid by the hour Thanks TEMPE, hopefully will have to work a few less days a month!!!!!!!!!

LOL of course the opposite is for us customers.. when traveling on business and we are late, we have to work later (and probably longer, catching up on what we missed)...
Thanks Tempe :)

Who decided to buy 321's to begin with? Who never made a penny with 'em? Right and right.

"Pardon our dust" the sign says, but US was mostly dust when HP got it.

The big question is whether or not the kids in the Sandbox are intent on making 'dust to dust' come true?

I know the US Av peanut gallery has all the answers: Why if Parker is so inept, did HP come back from the post-9/11 brink to become a thriving profitable carrier and US didn't? What's an honest assessment of his batting average?

It's hard to believe that he screws up everything and the airline is still here and making money.

There is a Peanut Gallery and a Kool-aid Stand. Both are entitled to their opinions.

In my case I asked a question. People who have all the answers don't ask questions.

sky high states: Werent they the first to apply and receive a GOVERNMENT LOAN after 9-11?

only stating opinions.

Yes they were the first to recieve and ATSB loan to keep them in business as the regular financial markets would not loan them any money.

The ATSB did not even force concessions on HP because their employees were so lowly paid.

Is it possible there's a longer term plan to put 757's back on those "weight restricted" routes? Sure, they'd need some sprucing up but it could be an option.

At what point during integration would they be allowed to operate West 757's on PHL-LAX/SFO/SEA/SAN transcons? I say West birds because the East ones with 8F is just a joke as it is, let alone on a true transcon route that every other airline alots a reasonable number of seats to.
Have they ever said anything about a reconfig for the 757? The West 757s have 14 seats, but 4 do not have closets. I can see the 320 east nightmare happening all over again. take out the closets and boost the east birds to 14 fc.
