By an overwhelming majority a motion to recall the ALPA LEC officers fail. USA320Pilot and likeminded pilots were shown the voice of the majority speaks loudly in PIT and PHL. My guess is it will take some time to spin this, so a post by USA320Pilot may not be forthcoming. So much for the distinguished Reservist General USA320 Pilot refernced that led the effort, and thus credibility of the recall attempt wasn't sour grapes but the voice of the majority. Well the majority has spoken so if there is sour grapes it certainly isn't those in the camp of their elected reps.

The PHL Rep recall effort is being led By Larry Thomas.

Larry is a PHL based B757 F/O, a fighter pilot, a Navy Top Gun graduate, and now an Air National Guard Brigadier General selectee.

He has commanded two Air Wings, he was recently deployed in hostile areas, and flew two special operation missions in defense of America's freedom. He is a candidate to be the next vice-commander of the New Jersey Air National Guard, which I believe is a two star general position.

I have never witnessed such a strong revolt before in 19+ years at this company and the recall effort will be successful. In addition, there are some very good ALPA people not listed in this thread who have volunteered to seek the soon to be vacated positions.

if i remember correctly...this leaves the fate of the many in the hands of a few inexperienced negotiators?
and at such a crucial juncture in U's and alpa's future?
