Contrary to a certain airbus pilot, PSA has several CRJ-700s flying revenue flights.

Saw 702PS and 703PS tonight in Charlotte.

Hmm, I wonder if he will admit he was wrong, saying they were going back to the lessor or sold to Mesa?

Had 702 in TPA today, nice and shiny new. but scary, it was an extra section to CLT. I sincerely hope these will only be used for point to point or xtra sec's.. Would be a shame to lose our FULL 321's and 757's to the hubs. Not to mention the mail and frieght the big birds carry.

Maybe I missed something along the way but when did PSA and their Mgmt agree to payrates and deal with the 50/50 or 100% J4J/PSA staffing issue in regards to the CRJ 700s? If not resolved how and who are flying these? If it has been resolved can someone at PSA post the new pay rates for the CRJ 700? Thanks, Cape

The issue has NOT been resolved as of yet. The only pilots flying these aircraft are instructors who are getting ready so they can eventually train line pilots. This way the ball is rolling so that things should go smoothly when a deal with the Mainline MEC and PSA MEC is made (if that ever occurs). Currently, pilots are going through the CRJ-700 differences training in a 50/50 mix.

The PSA negotiating comittee has come to a deal with PSA Management about pay rates, along with some reserve rule changes but they have yet to show that to anybody, nor has the MEC approved it. There is very little chance PSA line pilots will get a chance to vote on it.

In summary, there is still NO DEAL on who will fly them. The company is just getting things ready in case a deal is worked out.

Peace!

not true, they are scheduled on the CLT-SRQ runs.

US Airways 10:25A 12:11P 0 CR7 +

US Airways 3:05P 4:44P 0 CR7 +

US Airways 8:30P 10:16P 0 CR7 +

PSA currently has two 701's. Day-Clt-Srq-Clt-Day are revenue flights. Starting in May, SRQ goes to mainline express. Day-Clt-Tpa-Clt-Day are an added section, just so they have the ability to fly more. Clt-Tpa-Clt is a non-rev dream....they are almost always empty. Since they have no agreement in place, the pay rates are the same as the CRJ-200. With no agreement in place, the only pilots flying the 701 are the instructors.

Mainline MEC has been awfully quiet on this. I suspect they're hoping LOA 91 will pass and this won't be a problem anymore.

700,

What flight numbers are they using for the SRQ flts? Here in TPA the crj7 flts are extra secs with 8800 series #'s. indicating PSA estra secs.. they show up on the daily schedules.

2215, 2203 and 2211

According to a US Airways ALPA Official, 100% of the PSA CRJ-701 flying is being conducted by J4J pilots, which is permitted per the current mainline ALPA contract.

USA320Pilot comments: 700UW, can you tell me where I said those words? If you research my posts I indicated once LOA 91 is ratified on May 10, then PSA will likely be sold, with the leading candidate to acquire the wholly owned airline is Mesa. The company has indicated they will sell PSA to pay down more of the ATSB guaranteed loans and keep 25% of the proceeds for general corporate purposes.

With all due respect, I believe you're wrong again.

Respectfully,
