I'm no tech geek but I don't believe so. The IP address (internet provider internet address) depends on the provider. Take your laptop to an internet cafe in Paris (France) and there would be a different IP address. In fact, if you've got cable or DSL internet, most of those providers use dynamic address assignment - if you're inactive for a certain period of time your connection ends until you use the connection again, at which time the provider will assign your computer (smartphone, whatever) a new address.

What can be done (probably need a court order) is to get the internet provider's records and see if a given computer was connected to that IP at a given time. In Seeham's case, he had the email headers which can be used to track the email back to at least an IP and possibly a specific account with that IP.

No because the kid is now just out of his SECOND Rehab for Heroin Addiction. He's clean and sober 60 days now according to his FB page. Mom got him and his brother hooked, the older is clean and sober 2 years now.

The Romper Room blowhard has never walked in my shoes, however he is a bit quick to judge.Try being the only Clean and Sober person in a household of addicts. His idea of abuse is me yelling at the kid for getting arrested for breaking and entering, plus other related charges. Mean time they wiped me out of thousands as in over 100K.

Some people were born A-holes and some work at it their entire lives.

If faced with the potential reality of having certain persons becoming my stepfather I can certainly understand wanting to dive into a sea of opioids...

NO ONE except IT security geeks ever worries about a data breech until there is one. In that regard we are likely as guilty as anyone to be lax with security. The difference here being that type of information whether it's an individual or a group should NEVER be stored on even a password protected hard drive that is not removable. Any and all personal data should be stored on a drive that can be locked in a safe. Or secured through a cloud type application. For the truly anal retentive there is Digital Rights Management software that further protects documents from unauthorized downloads.

This was an understandable event but not a very smart thing to do. the lesson is here for all unions and civic organizations that think "Oh it will never happen to us" well it just did.

Numerous issues with this topic.

1. Saw Eric at work last week in uniform, 30 day suspension complete, requal training starts this week I think. West pilots donations made up for the three's lost pay, and I think they are just going to drop the whole issue.

2. usapa is in possesion of,, for sure West pilot's social security numbers, and likely all pilot's SS numbers. The pilot info given to AOL was likely the exact same list given to usapa, and that is how usapa knew the SS numbers were part of the info. Being criminally inept at union duties does not keep them from blowing their own cover. Also, why has the company failed to give a 30 day suspension to whoever leaked the pilots SS numbers to usapa?
