PHX-CLE being reinstated is likely the result of UA ending PHX-CLE on May 21, 2014.  (+ the loss of UA as a partner might have triggered this move regardless.)

Yes.  No doubt PHX-CLE will be the "turnaround" route that helps PHX soon eclipse DFW and CLT for New AA service.
