I think this is due to the 757's starting operation in late may and easly june, so some times have to be swapped around, making 2 banks of departure to the u.s, 6 and 8 pm
The early departure times to Europe are more likely due to the fact that many of these flights couldnt get to Europe in time to make connections in the European cities due to delays out of PHL. Its a smart move to bump up the departure sched. to prevent a replay of years past. gives the customers a little bit more play time incase of delays leaving the USA.
