I was just wondering since the merger. We retired persons have not heard anything about pass privileges.

Do the old US Airways retired employees have a pass privilege? ;)

I've not heard or seen anything about pass privileges for the retired since the OLD US AIRWAYS took everything away from medical, pension and etc.

Anybody out there that can enlighten me, I appreciate it.

Retiree pass privileges are just as they were at each airline before the merger. After the first of the year both programs will be combined.

 Thanks for the info. At least I know my 35 years did not all go to waste.

There may be changes to boarding priorities, but fortunately all retires from both AWA and US Airways will continue to receive pass travel priveleges. Thank you for you service!

The HP early out folks are the same as before, we were SA3P, and are the equivalent of that now. We are the group that changes the least.

If you want any more info on that, call the Pass Bureau, they know their stuff!

I will call them and see if they know what will happen to the US Airways early outs.

I guess I will take the kids to the airport and check me and the kids in only to have to back out at the last minute or the 3 kids and wife go because there is no room for me

I have a buddy on the west coast who is already trying to set up for check in time with me out east
Call a friend at the airport when the computers are down
DOH is the easiest and less open to problems

I am working on a computer program that will call and list right at the second of the 4hr window
Maybe I can retried early there are lot of AA and HP employees who would buy it
Just kidding we were just sitting around work thinking of these things
