Operation Completion

ARLINGTON (theHub.com) - There have been no transatlantic flight cancellations since March 23. This means that April 13 was the 21st consecutive day of uninterrupted service to and from Europe.

With US Airways operating 100 percent of its transatlantic flight schedule for the period March 24-April 13, the string of transatlantic completions has surpassed 400 flights since our last cancellation.

“This forward momentum would not be possible without the dedication and coordinated efforts of employees on both sides of the Atlantic. They should be proud of this accomplishment,â€￾ said Managing Director of Operations Control and Planning Bob Maloney.

What percentage of the passengers bag's arrived on the same flight as the passenger?

So your talking how many flights a day?

Let see, 19 Tranatlantic aircraft, 1 of which is down for maintenance right.

So lets be nice and say 18 flights a day..

WOW.. Isn't that awesome.

Something to be proud of.. Now lets look at the rest of the system..

   Yes, how about a comparison of the Carribean cxl's and late, sometimes 3 to 4 hours on a daily basis. Once again, mgmt.( or lack there of ) just isnt paying attention!!

They also send all these psgrs & their misconnect luggage for the other stations to take care of.

Operationally...it's a mess. To deny that is just plain .....foolish.

We had better hope for a miracle.

That's cold, man.

(Though it would be interesting if there was an answer to that one.)

Considering that they are maxing out the widebodies this summer, and the fact they had to do some short term charter/dry lease in March when they had 2 down for mx, is there any thought of them recalling the 11th 767 back from its sublease so that they have another spare widebody if they need it.

Also, what's the deal with the 330-200, are those orders dead, or are they still set to begin delivery in 2007?

Lipstick on a pig. What is your favorite color where we can all send you a tube as well?

There is not a 767 on sub-lease, A/C 647US was returned to the lessor during BK 1 and it now flying in Africa.
