I don't really need a lecture on the 5th Amendment. I know what it is for. I was simply quoting Donald Trump himself during the Presidential campaign (and after IIRC). He said over and over again in speech after speech that taking the 5th meant you are guilty. Of course, he was referring to a couple of Hillary campaign staff members who took the 5th during one of the myriad Congressional investigations of Hillary's private server use (See Note 1 below). Well, as Shakespeare would have said, "He is hoist upon his own petard."

Note 1: Congress spent more time and money investigating Hillary than they spent investigating the 9/11 tragedy. Unlike the Mueller investigation, they produced not one single indictment of any one for anything.

Here's an especially good link from the Charlotte Observer (not known as a particularly liberal newspaper). It points out that the Donald himself took the 5th Amendment 97 times during the proceedings of his divorce from Marla Maples when he was asked questions about his commission of adultery during their marriage. (I bet in DonaldWorld the number of times one takes the 5th can be directly correlated to the level of guilt. The more times you take the 5th, the more guilty you are.)

Jimmy, but you do need a lesson in bias. The 5th amendment is fine with you for Lois Lerner and Hildabeast's criminal investigations, but not for Trump. It looks like Muellers investigation has produced no Russian collusion after 1 year today, no leaks about Trump and Putin conspiring. Nothing. Only decades old charges on Manafort, and Flynn lying to the FBI which they now say probably didn't happen. Where as Obammys buddy Holder lied with impunity and was held in contempt. Quite a difference between pleading the 5th in a divorce case vs a criminal congressional/FBI hearing on how the IRS targeted certain groups or how the FBI let poor Ol Hil off the hook for having SAP and Top Secret files on a home server. Crimes that would have landed anyone else in prison. Now since the Russian story has gone nowhere fast, a porn star and her CNN star attorney come out with a laughable story about how Trump had an one night affair before he became president, and nobody cares but leftists. The slimy lawyer has got his 15 minutes of fame, and poor Stormy will soon all be but forgotten. Trump will still be president.


Note 1 states they found no indictments with Hildabeast of course, as she was supposed to become the next failed Clintonian president. Wouldn't look good for the first female president to be impeached and sent to prison in the first year. Can't have that. However that's over, she's now just a old sniveling hag, selling books and drinking too much.

With the release of 3 hostages from North Korea, the hopeful de-nuking of Little Rocket Man, the destruction of ISIS, and the jobs and economy coming up, America returning to strength on the world stage from the 8 years of Obammy weakness. I don't see anyone clamoring to return to the feckless policies of Blinky Pelosi, Cryin Chuck Schumer, or Hildabeast.
