You turned down more then $27k over 3 years, for healthcare that nobody knows what it will look like 15years from now. the TWU didn't do anything to you, every contract is voted on. It's you know nothing, short sighted, loud mouth, dunder heads that screw youself.

We'll see what contract was better, the TA voted down by the majority, or the one we get while in BK. I'll bet that there will be more GIVEBACKs in the BK contract.

I appreciate your point and I believe you are correct, but what I'm getting at is the vote NO coalition cost us $9k + alone. They said we would better in BK, they say we will get retro, I would have rather taken a hit off of $36 an hour rather then $33. Nobody knows for sure if AA was planning the whole time to go to BK. But the loud mouths said we would do better when they were negotiating our contract and they were WRONG.

I bring it up because I want everybody to remember how wrong they were, playing into peoples fear and emotion is what they did, therefore they should be listened to more for amusement then actual knowledge.

I am not desperate at all. I have only 240 above me on the system seniority list and less than 150 on the TUL list.

It would require Chapter 7 liquidation before I would be without a job.

I am simply trying to get through to the knuckleheads that we are going to get much worse than the T/A now and voting NO was futile. Which is what I have been claiming since the T/A was brought to a vote. It is those that are lead by pure emotion that refuse to see the truth and the logic in that fact!
