Northwest-Delta: We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Pilots

For someone so caught up in seniority and pilots rights, why do you basically comb through the other threads and cast shadows (if not outright opposition) to DL FAs unionizing?? You're not M.Stark are you? I know he wasn't for DL FAs unionizing the last time. Did that have anything to do with maybe his stock falling if the vote went through?

I have no opposition to the FA's unionizing. Please quote me if you disagree with that statement.
My arguments were based on the fact that some were mounting personal attacks on DL FA's merely because they hadn't elected for representation. I merely argued that was a personal choice.
BTW, I am not Mike Stark. I cannot comment on his character as I have never met the man, and have nothing invested with him.

When this merger happens, all the NWA stations outside DTW/MSP will be Delta Global Services (DGS):

Locations
Negitive. If we were to merge, the ramp would become unionized. Without the number of main line rampers at DL to stop us it will happen kool-aid kids. We will then have to choose who to fight first. We could do as the pupet masters predict we will and start fighting between the two of us, DL and NW, or we could fight to hold the narrow strip of ground we hold between the true enemy, the company greed and there tools, DSG. The scum bag farm out companies are happy to give your job back at half pay, if you are lucky. If we do loose the fight for the out stations many of the DL faithful can kiss your asses goodbye. As unionized employees, the "new DL" ramp will change as displaced workers begin to bump around the system. I for one am tired of the cold here in the midwest and will be heading south to bump a junior kool-aid drinker. I've have seen DSG in action. What a joke. PS Ive asked a few time with no help. How is the fishing around Atlanta?

You have already been castrated and will serve your new master faithfully.

How long have you been with NWA? Bump who? If you were paying attention, you would see that seniority will mean nothing when your job is abolished.

Probably referring to the pilots. NW would have to be brought up 5-10% to achieve parity with DL pilots. In addition they would receive an equity stake with annual raises of 7%.

Yeah, well who says they do? It could be just like the NW/RC merger. The RC guys made less than the NW guys for quite some time before they merged one contract.

Are they going to be shutting down ATL, MSP, DTW? All are options under NWA's and soon to be DL's CBA.

You didn't answer the question.

Don't worry, the IAM has your best interests in at heart.
Enough time to hold a hub. I will be bumping to ATL like I said. As will many from NWA. Richard can't help you nor does he intend to. The bottem feeders, thats you to "Tech", will be left to fend for your selves. The new DL will probably open up some new entry level managment possition for all the displaced Kool-aid kids to keep a eye on us. My be a new day for some of you. Still haven't heard about the fishing.

Bottom feeder? You are completey clueless. I no longer work for NWA (or Delta).

Were you one on the ones pushing back airplanes the day we went on strike?

Even though ..this CLUSTER F*** (between Steenland and Anderson) was "born" (probably) Before DL announced Anderson was coming to ATL, the fact IS that DL did NOT Initiate this "Act" in the "play/drama". !!!!!!!!

This is ALL DOUG/NW BOD's doing.

With that said, IF EVER there was a time to UNITE Together, and send EAGAN Mn. a crystal clear message that this SH!T "will not fly", it's NOW !

Should any of you RED TAILS need a "jump start", to get "pumped up", may I suggest that you do as I did a few hours ago, and LOOK at NW's Route Map in the Pacific, then say to yourselves..."Are WE going to turn this over to DL,....................BECAUSE those low life mother F*****'s Steenland, and the BOD's want OUT, and their Golden parachutes $$$$, With (ultimately) NO regard given to a lot of NW people" ??????????????

The TIME is NOW, to activate a page out of UAL's play book......."CHAOS" !!!!!

SICK TIME/IOD's, you name it.........................(Like NIKE says)........."JUST DO IT" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes. But before you get your panties in a bunch, the work was our work. My station has been pushing planes for 20 to 25 years. I do have people in our station that did aid and assist the company in pushbacks. They will always have that following them. I don't believe you know enough about me to call me clueless. Over oppionated, yes. Most of us know your story. The point I was making with the bottom feeder comment was that in the eyes of the company/companies we are all equally worthless, and replacable. The AMFA saw that they were in for a fight that was worth fighting, just didn't realize that going it alone wasn't going to work.

I commend you for not performing struck work.

I hope you guys do not get screwed in this merger. I would not look for the IAM to help you out, as long as they don't lose dues.

FWIW, I did know that we should not have "gone it alone". The other unions on the property should have seen that too. AMFA did ask DePace to honor our line. He rejected that and actually encouraged his (your) group to perform the struck work. If the other unions had stood with us, you (they) would be in a far better position to bargain at this point.

Is this NW's way of telling their STINKING PILOTS a think or two?

Unless this is 15-20 planes ON TOP of the 35 9s announced in Jan. it is irrelevant news...as is most of the other content. It's really just a rehash in an attempt to look like his is actually doing something.(seeing how he "forgot' to hedge)

http://www.bizjournals.com/memphis/stories.../21/daily2.html

we will have to listen to the constant stump of how "there has to be consolidation..in an attempt to win over the employees of NW, the ones "they don't need permission from" to merge)
