Although this story is directly unrelated to the day to day events at JFK, I couldn''t help but feel the similarity of those quoted in this article as those being echoed in the break-rooms and on aircraft here at JFK. Management and employees seem more preoccupied with ongoing furloughs including their own that they''re missing the boat when it comes to operation at hand. These are crucial times at AMR, Senior management and union officials have to take charge and show leadership in a unified front quickly, answer any all questions honestly no matter the backlash. We cannot afford to go rudderless anymore.

Let''s get the ''talking- heads'' out of HQ and in the trenches before we lose the war.

Sad; is it just me, just JFK?

Good luck in this...management is still scrambling because they realize that they have to do REAL actual work this time anbd they have no clue on how to do real work (maybe we can attach a golf club and let them follow the scent). The fun times are over, the circus has packed up and gone and the clowns are leaving.
I say, give it a month or so before they stop scrambling around like chickens with their head cut off and start acting normally (with their heads up their asses).
