I was looking at different trip pairings leaving on the 24th and noticed that on the 25th flight 968 SJU-CLT and flight 1250 CLT-PHL are operated by 75E's. It's a/c number 643. Though some would say that a 757 is a 757 is a 757, based on the alert bulletin there are differences. The galley's are definately not the same. It will be interesting to fly it though. A somewhat "new" 757. Anyway, that was the only a/c I noticed. Wasn't really investigating rather just stumbled across that.

Nothing was done to the inside. Layout is different from US 757"s. No first class lav, all seats are leather.
More nav. upgrades in cockpit.

Anyone know how many cockpit jumpseats on these aircraft?

No first class lav,

The "first class" lav is where it always has been...at 1L. The lav that is at 2L (NOT a f/c lav) is located at 3L/3R with the two already there. I'm looking at the f/a emergency manual alert.

PIT MTC shipped two of the 757's out of maintenance check

7 days early.

Always had a can do attitude at PIT Base MTC.

Good job folks ;)

I know that the galley setup is different.

Do they have different overheads than the restof the fleet, and do they use CRT screens in the aisles or drop down LCD screens like on the airbus?

they have new boeing style overhead bins. the video screens are mounted on the the center of the a/c like the other 757's but the system is like the a/b system " touch screen" much better quality. i will give a report on how my flt from gla-phl went on the 31st when i get in from my trip.

Not only are the galleys different than our current 757s but all 3 of the 757E's have differant galleys. The monitors are on the ceiling but in MUCH better shape. It's the step up from what our old 757s had. The overheads look like a newer design.
